CBS has confirmed that CSI Miami regular Eddie Cibrian will not reprise his role (at least full time) on the crime procedural.
The star, who had some negative press in the past couple of years, has been cut due to ‘Creative reasons’.
Sad to see him go?

Confirmed: Zach Gilford, Taylor Kitsch and Adrianne Palicki have signed multi-episode contracts to reprise their roles on critically acclaimed NBC/DirecTV show, Friday Night Lights.
Tim (Kitsch) and Tyra (Palicki) will return to the fan-fave for the final few episodes of the show which will air first on DirecTV in the fall and midseason on NBC.

A CBS spokesperson has confirmed that AJ Cook’s contract option has not been picked up for next season.
What does this mean for her character? Who knows how they’ll write her out – it could be death though, right?
This follows the news that Paget Brewster has signed on for a limited run next season as the show attempts to get its creative juices flowing again.
Sad to see her go?

Everybody wants to appear on FOX phenomenon Glee, and this Fall you’ll be able to see John Stamos.
Stamos has signed on to play the previously mentioned dentist that Emma has been dating!
It is unknown how many episodes the former Full House star will appear in.

It’s official: ABC has confirmed that Sarah Drew and Jesse Williams have been promoted to series regulars on Grey’s Anatomy.
How many episodes they’ll appear in has not been confirmed. You can sleep well though; the regular status means they’ll both appear in at least 13 episodes.

The Southland star has booked a multi-episode arc on the Showtime hit.
Rumour has it that Hatosy has signed on to play what sources close to the show are calling “A bad guy”.
He will then head straight back to work on the resurrected TNT show “Southland”.
This comes just a week after the news that Julia Stiles has joined Dexter in a recurring role which is thought to be a season long arc.

CSI will be down at least one star this season - a sign of things to come?
CBS has confirmed that Liz Vassey’s (Wendy) contract option has not been picked up for the shows 11th season, which begins airing this fall.
Is this a sign of things to come? Well, several of the other CSIers contracts are still up for review.

Another Saturday Night Live alum is visiting Pawnee, this time it’s the turn of Will Forte.
Forte will follow in the footsteps of previous SNL-ers Andy Samberg and Fred Armisen and guest in a season 3 episode of Parks and Recreation alongside the star (and former SNLer), 2010 Emmy nominee Amy Poehler.
He will play a Pawnee resident who has a teen-like obsession with the Twilight franchise which subsequently complicates a pet project Leslie (Poehler) is working on.

Julia Stiles has signed on to play a major role in the upcoming fifth season of hit Showtime show, Dexter.

LOS ANGELES, CA June 7, 2010 – Julia Stiles has joined the cast of SHOWTIME’s Emmy-nominated drama series DEXTER. Stiles, who will appear in ten episodes in the upcoming fifth season, will play a mysterious young woman who forms a unique relationship with Dexter (Michael C. Hall) in the wake of the death of his wife. Production on season five begins this month and will premiere in the fall on SHOWTIME.
In other Dexter news, the exec producer Skip Johannssen revealed in an interview with ew.com:
“We’re not going to have a single Big Bad this season. We don’t want to try and top John Lithgow, so we’re going to change up the forces that Dexter’s going to be dealing with.”

Former Eli Stone star Natasha Henstridge is in for some more legal drama.
The actress, who appeared in the last 2 episodes of this season, has booked a multi-episode arc playing the previously unseen partner at Harrison & Parker.
