
Survivor won the night for CBS, finishing the season with almost exactly the same ratings as they did last cycle.
At 8pm, the first hour of Survivor opened the night for CBS, averaging a 4.0 (18-49) rating and just over 13 million viewers. The Extreme Makover: Home Edition finale took second for ABC, posting a 2.8 rating and just over 9.3 million viewers. The Simpsons and The Cleveland Show were just third for FOX, averaging a solid 2.8 rating and just over 6 million viewers. NBC was fourth and last with the 2010 Miss USA Pageant, which posted a 1.5 rating and 5 million viewers.
At 9, Survivor continued to dominate on CBS – with stiffer competition – averaging a 4.4 rating and just over 13.6 million viewers. They beat out the season finale of Desperate Housewives on ABC, which averaged a 4.0 rating and just over 12.6 million viewers. Family Guy and American Dad were third for FOX, averaging a solid 3.3 rating and just over 6.6 million viewers. Celebrity Apprentice was last for NBC, posting a 2.3 rating and 6.2 million viewers.
At 10, Survivor Reunion Show held onto the lead for CBS averaging a solid 3.7 (18-49) rating and just over 11 million viewers. The finale of Brothers and Sisters on ABC averaged a solid 3.0 rating and 10 million viewers – up vs. last years finale. At 10, Celebrity Apprentice took over for NBC with a 2.4 rating and just over 6 million viewers.
