I’ve got a feeling that it wont take much longer for Serena to find out who her dad is….considering we already know!

Former Dirty Sexy Money star Billy Baldwin (yup, one of the Baldwins, look at the picture to know which one) has signed on to guest star as the William van der Woodsen, Serena and Eric’s estranged father.

Baldwin will be in a handful of episodes, the first of which is ser to air in April.

You can keep J-Lo, all Glee wants is a little bit of NPH.

Rumor has it that producers of Golden Globe award-winning Glee have made a move to secure the services of Barney Stinson for an upcoming episode that will reportedly be directed by the one and only Joss Whedon (there’s a Dr. Horrible link between the two).

Will it work out? Well that’ll depend on one thing. CBS. If CBS says yes and it doesn’t interfere with the shooting schedule on How I Met Your Mother then it’s on.

Gena Rowlands has been tapped to guest on NCIS – and not in the good way…

The three time EMMY award winner has been cast in a March episode of TV’s most watched scripted show as Joann, Gibbs intelligent upscale mother-in-law. All will not go smoothly however. The visit is said to create some “heartache, anger and blame”.

You may remember Rowlands from her EMMY winning performances in Face of a Stranger, Hysterical Blindness or The Betty Ford Story. If not, you’re probably pretty young, and these were a while ago….

The Days of Our Lives star has signed on to guest star in an episode of the freshman flop, Mercy.

In what sounds to be like a bad House storyline, Sweeney will play a bus-crash victim who appears to have only minor injuries but it ends up that she has shrapnel in her brain, causing her to act out of character.

You may also remember Sweeney from her other NBC show, The Biggest Loser. Her episode is slated to air in March.

The Oscar Nominee is guest starring in an episode to be directed by the shows star, Hugh Laurie.

“He’s a patient who has scenes with Dr. House,” explains executive producer Katie Jacobs. “I’m excited to [watch] the two of them in a room together.”

Strathairn, who scored an Oscar nomination for the role of Edward R. Morrow in Good Night, and Good Luck will be in the shows 17th episode of this season.

The docs over at Oceanside Wellness will seek no more – they have desperately found Rosanna Arquette.

Arquette has signed on to guest star in an ep of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy spin-off Private Practice reps for the network have confirmed. She will be playing the crunchy-granola mother of Dink (Stephen Lunsford), who is currently dating Sam (Taye Diggs) and Naomi’s (Audra McDonald) daughter.

For those of you with a good memory (like me), you will remember that Arquette guesting on an episode of Grey’s a couple of years ago. More recently she was on now-canceled Eastwick as Greta Noa.

The country group have signed on to appear in an episode to air next year.

The group will be playing themselves in an ep called ‘Unshockable’ where one of the members will be a victim of crime and the other two will be suspects. Obviously there’ll be some music, “and perhaps an original song” says EP Carol Mendelsohn.

“What are all of those Shield stars doing on FOX?”, you may ask yourself…

The Shield alums Benito Martinez, Catherine Dent, Kenny Johnson, David Marciano, Cathy Cahlin Ryan and David Rees Snell have all signed to to guest star in the episode 12 of Shawn Ryan’s show. The story with revolve around the regular crimefighters, Lightman (Tim Roth) and Zoe (Jennifer Beals) wondering whether  they sent the wrong child murderer to prison nearly two decades earlier.

Marciano plays the Death Row killer; Ryan, his ex; Snell, his snitch of a brother; Martinez and Dent, the uncle and aunt of the ill-fated little boy; and Johnson… let’s just say he becomes a person of interest in the case.

The episode is due to air early next year.

Nicole Richie has secured herself a pilot order, courtesy of ABC.

The Simple Life star is headlining a single-camera half-hour sitcom playing a professional woman with complicated family relationships and struggling to figure out what role she’ll take as her life and her family evolve.

Richie had the initial idea for the show and will have a producing credit as well as starring.

The star most recent TV gigs include guest starring roles on 8 Simple Rules, American Dreams and Eve as well as four seasons of The Simple Life

The former O.C. and Prison Break guest star has joined True Blood as Bill’s wife.

The actress will be playing Caroline, the wife that Bill never returned after becoming a vamp during the Civil War. We have briefly seen a flashback of the character during season 1, not played by Lucio.
