
The World Series was decided last night, and you’ll like the result if you’re in to pin stripes.
Game 6 of the World Series took the ratings crown for FOX, drawing an average 22.3 million viewers and a 7.4 rating between 8-11pm, way ahead of everyone else. CBS was second, pulling 10.2 million viewers and a 2.7 rating. ABC was third with their comedies and Eastwick averaging 6 million viewers and a 2.1 rating. NBC took 4th spot with a combination of Mercy, L&O: SVU and Leno averaging a 1.8 rating and 6.4million viewers. The CW was last with a 1.2 (18-49) rating and 2.7 million viewers.
At 8pm, Mercy took second behind the baseball, averaging a 1.7 rating and 6.6 million viewers. Old Christine pulled a 2.1 rating and Gary Unmarried pulled a 2.0 to take second for CBS. Hank/The Middle averaged roughly the same rating as the last time they were paired (1.4/ 2.0) to take 4th for ABC. The CW ran a new ANTM to take last for the hour with a 1.7 rating and just under 4 million viewers.
At 9, Criminal Minds kept the eye second, drawing a 3.2 rating and just under 12 million viewers. ABC’s Modern Family(3.4)/Cougar Town(2.7) combo was enough for 3rd. Law and Order: SVU was 4th for NBC, drawing 8 million viewers and a 2.5 rating. A Vampire Diaries rerun ended The CW’s night in last with a 0.7 rating and million viewers.
At 10, CSI:NY rounded out the night for CBS taking second place with a 2.7 rating and 11.6 million viewers. Eastwick set another series low by pulling a 1.6 rating and 4.6 million viewers to put ABC in 3rd for the hour. Leno was again last with a 1.3 rating for the peacock.
